Create Something Different
We’ve worked for big corporate law firms, but we wanted to create something different. We wanted to be able to make our own decisions and be flexible for our clients. We knew that we wanted more of a balance and wanted to create a space for others who wanted the same. We knew we could provide our clients good advice without big firm prices. So we left Big Law and created the firm for which we wanted to work.
We love our team
It is rewarding to be able to work in an environment with people who are great at what they do. It is even more rewarding to work with a group of people who all genuinely like working together and with many shared interests and hobbies. Our team is creative and adventurous, and we all have a variety of interests outside of work: we are painters, hikers, skiers, animal lovers, beach bums, soccer players, travelers, cooks, wine enthusiasts and some of us run marathons! We care about each other and support each other in our professional and personal lives.
We are a virtual law firm
Markery Law was created as a virtual law firm to allow us to work from home and to give us more flexibility, productivity, and happiness. We use technology to maintain and strengthen the connection among our team and with our clients. The added benefit of being a virtual firm is that we have reduced our carbon footprint, and we are better environmental stewards, which makes us all feel like we are contributing in a positive way.
