Jacqueline Patt

EXPERIENCE

Ms. Patt was a Partner in the Trademark Group of an AmLaw 100 law firm before co-founding Markery Law. Throughout her career, Ms. Patt has worked with Fortune 100 companies, small businesses and entrepreneurs alike on all aspects of their global brand management. Ms. Patt was seconded for a time in-house with a famous hospitality brand and was acting Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property to an $8 Billion food company. This unique combination of in-house and outside counsel experience, along with tackling the many challenges of being a successful small business owner, provides Ms. Patt with the skills and experience to provide practical, business-focused advice to a broad range of clients from famous brands to start-ups.

Ms. Patt focuses her practice on international trademark protection and enforcement, including searching and clearance of marks, prosecuting trademark applications, policing and enforcement, and counseling on global strategy. Ms. Patt also represents clients in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Interests

Ms. Patt is a wife and a mom to two active boys and two golden retrievers. She has enjoyed travelling the country watching her oldest son play travel baseball and enjoys being a Baseball Mom to her son’s high school baseball team. Ms. Patt is a dog lover and shares her love on Instagram @2goldenboyzz and TikTok @2goldenboyz. She is also a DlYer, wine lover, and avid traveler, particularly to Italy, though Spain is also high on her list.
