Alexa Stabler

EXPERIENCE

Ms. Stabler has more than a decade of experience leading trademark portfolio strategy, global brand protection, enforcement, and client counseling for companies ranging from emerging businesses to established national brands. Her background includes strategic management of trademark portfolios, from clearance through registration, maintenance, enforcement, and portfolio optimization.

She develops and executes trademark enforcement strategies, including TTAB proceedings, cease-and-desist programs, and settlement negotiations, including drafting coexistence and consent agreements, licenses, and settlement agreements supporting client brand expansion. She serves as legal advisor to executive leadership, marketing teams, and business owners on trademark selection, filing strategy, brand expansion, licensing, and risk mitigation.

Ms. Stabler first developed an interest in branding during college internships at CNN and MTV — an early exposure to how companies build and protect their identities that continues to inform her approach to trademark law today.
